National OnDemand’s J. Tucker Construction deal enhances its fiber, last mile solution construction set
National OnDemand, a provider of communications infrastructure solutions, has acquired J. Tucker Construction to enhance its ability to deliver turnkey solutions to the broadband industry, which is seeing gains due to public and private network investments.
A Texas-based company, J. Tucker Construction has over 30 years of expertise in underground construction, last-mile buried service wire, and fiber splicing services—all critical to service providers and communities enhancing broadband's reach.
National said that the acquisition significantly enhances National's capacity to deliver turnkey solutions and supports the company's strategic focus on expanding its geographic footprint across the country.
Since it was founded in 1991, J. Tucker Construction has provided various telecommunications infrastructure services, including aerial construction, directional boring, trenching, buried service wire placement, and fiber and copper splicing.
National OnDemand is poised to grow its capabilities in existing and new markets, leveraging J. Tucker's skills and client relationships.
Jason Tucker, president of J. Tucker Construction, sees the upside to being part of a larger company. "National OnDemand's backing will allow us to grow our construction and last mile services while continuing to deliver the high-quality work our clients expect,” he said.
