The broadband and optical industry witnessed shifts in management ranks, with Anterix, Aryaka, GOCare, Twin Valley, and Unwired naming new leaders.

Anterix passes the CEO torch to Scott Lang 
Anterix has named Scott Lang President and CEO, replacing Rob Schwartz, who will be stepping down after a decade of pioneering leadership. Schwartz will support Lang and serve as an advisor to the Board to assist in the leadership transition. Lang is a seasoned global executive with a demonstrated history of innovation, having spent more than 30 years working with major companies at the intersection of telecommunications and electric utilities. As the former CEO and Executive Chairman of Silver Spring Networks, Lang played a role in successfully positioning the company within the utility sector before selling the company to Itron in 2018.

Aryaka taps Chris Ranalli as CRO to drive Unified SASE as a Service growth
Aryaka has onboarded Chris Ranalli as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). With 25 years of experience in security, enterprise software, and networking, Ranalli brings a wealth of deep domain expertise to Aryaka’s leadership team. In his new role, Ranalli will oversee Aryaka’s go-to-market strategy and execution as the company continues to capitalize on the rapidly expanding Unified SASE as a Service market opportunity. He joins Aryaka with a proven track record of success in revenue generation and channel and sales leadership at prominent IT-centric businesses including Oracle, Imperva, RSA, and Verizon. Ranalli brings extensive leadership experience as Chief Revenue Officer at HyperScience, an AI-driven enterprise software unicorn. Before HyperScience, Chris held leadership positions at Imperva, RSA, and Oracle, where he was responsible for increasing market share and maximizing new business. He began his career Verizon as a network engineer, providing him with a technical foundation before transitioning to sales.

GOCare bolsters sales and marketing team with two telecom veterans
GOCare, a SaaS provider of digital experience software, has named two experienced industry veterans to its leadership team to help drive the company's next growth phase. Lake Stockdreher will become the Director of Sales and Kevin Mitchell will become the Marketing and Partners Vice President. GOCare also invests in enhancing broadband service provider customer relationships as Kevin McFeeley moves to a new Director of Account Management role. GOCare's Digital Experience Platform enables service providers to differentiate on customer experience while driving down operational costs. Mitchell joins GOCare with over 25 years of experience in leading marketing, partnerships, and business development for technology companies in the telecommunications industry, including Alianza, Acme Packet, and Infonetics Research. His focus at GOCare is driving awareness, pipeline, and a robust partner ecosystem. Stockdreher has brought over 15 years of technology solution sales to his new role at GOCare. Through his leadership roles at ElectriCom, Render Networks, and Mapcom Systems/VertiGIS, he brings a depth of knowledge in telecom operations and systems.

Twin Valley names Charter veteran Sullivan to lead operations
Twin Valley, Kansas's largest family-owned broadband and communications provider, has named telecom and cable veteran John Sullivan as its new Vice President of Operations. Sullivan brings extensive industry leadership to Twin Valley, recently serving as a senior operations executive at Charter Communications, overseeing network health and communications services across three Midwest states. Sullivan successfully enhanced productivity and operational efficiencies by leading a cross-functional team with hundreds of employees across Field Service, Engineering, Human Resources, and Business Planning. He will oversee outside plant, network, and expansion operations at Twin Valley as the company continues to raise the bar on an exceptional customer experience and expand its offerings across rural Kansas communities.

unWired Broadband names Matt Murphy as CEO
unWired Broadband, the largest independent broadband and managed service provider in the Central Valley of California, named Matt Murphy as CEO. A 25-year telecom and private equity veteran, Murphy most recently served as co-founder and Partner of Astra Capital Management, a US-based private equity firm focused on acquiring and transforming communications and technology companies. Before his tenure in private equity, Murphy held several high-ranking executive roles at large, sponsor-backed telecommunication companies, Grande Communications and Atlantic Broadband.
