Grain Management consolidates AEG, FOS, and Y-COM under the Trueline Infrastructure Solutions brand

Sept. 24, 2024
The new company will provide services nationwide, leveraging the capabilities of the three existing network construction companies.

Trueline Infrastructure Solutions (Trueline) has been launched as a new full-service infrastructure connectivity company that designs, constructs, deploys, and manages top-tier digital infrastructure for telecommunications and utility industries throughout the United States.

While Trueline Infrastructure Solutions is a new name in the network construction business, the pedigree of the three companies that make up the brand —Atlantic Engineering Group (AEG), Fiber Optic Services (FOS), and Young's Communications (Y-COM)—is its over five decades of experience.

Trueline is the product of acquisitions. After acquiring Y-COM, it made three acquisitions – Atlantic Engineering Group (AEG), Borecomm and Fiber Optic Services (FOS)—to bolster its network construction business line.

Backed by Grain Management, the newly formed Trueline Infrastructure Solutions boasts a team of over 400 employees. They are seamlessly integrated, providing Trueline with a robust foundation to enhance its service offerings and extend its nationwide reach.

Grain said this unified approach will enable Trueline to transform communities and expand broadband connectivity throughout the United States.

Trueline will offer customers end-to-end digital and utility infrastructure solutions to our customers, including project planning, grant support, program management, engineering, permitting, construction, fiber splicing, and termination testing.

To serve customers efficiently, the new company will deliver what it says is an advanced project management ecosystem. It will leverage solutions to seamlessly integrate operations, streamline processes, and align technology with its customers' goals, the company will offer key features such as project lifecycle mapping, a streamlined design system, customizable dashboards and reports, geolocation tracking, material planning and tracking, and mobile apps.

Being able to craft solutions is no less critical. The company said it will design, build, and manage infrastructure solutions tailored to each customer's unique needs, with the flexibility to adapt quickly to shifting market demands.

Given the physical and mental demands of its employees' work, Trueline will not only provide rigorous safety training but also prioritize its team's overall health and growth, supporting their mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

Trueline will be led by Rob Hughart, CEO of Trueline Infrastructure Solutions, who said the new company will leverage the collective experience of AEG, FOS, and Y-COM.

"This rebranding is about more than just a name change; it's about aligning with our new Mission, Vision, and Values, which have been shaped by our past experiences, our people, and the rich history of each of these companies,” he said in a release announcing the new company.
