Witbe: Ad Monitoring and Matching Technology

Sept. 25, 2024

Witbe’s Ad Monitoring and Matching technology automatically monitors the performance of video services worldwide. The company’s platform tests and monitors ads on actual, physical devices to measure the proper performance that viewers receive at home. This approach can reveal errors recorded on devices that are otherwise undetectable through different monitoring techniques. Witbe’s technology records critical performance indicators for video service providers, including whether the ad plays, the video quality and audio loudness compared with the content, and the amount of buffering before and during the ad. The technology also allows  service providers to access and share video recordings made to verify ad impressions with advertisers.
JUDGE’S COMMENT: “By offering features like video recordings for ad verification and identifying ad delivery instances, Witbe enables service providers to efficiently resolve ad errors, reduce operational expenses, and maintain ad revenue, thereby improving the overall quality of experience for viewers and advertisers.”
