Nashville—Tim Ludwar, SaskTel's director of fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) operations, was honored with Lightwave and Corning’s annual FTTXcellence Award.
This 21st Annual FTTXcellence Award recognizes leadership in advancing the deployment of optical access networks in North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
Known as an industry-recognized expert in Fiber Network deployments, he oversees the design, vendor procurement, material management, project management and quality control of SaskTel’s fiber programs.
Over his 44-year career in the telecom industry, Ludwar has held various roles with increasing responsibility in several areas of outside plant and Operations.
He is passionate about building quality networks, leveraging project management disciplines, fostering a team environment, and maintaining a positive customer experience.
When he’s not managing and building out fiber networks, Tim is married with three children; he is a classic car enthusiast, dapples in acoustic guitar, and will never pass up a round of golf.
