Inca Networks has rebranded as WISI (pronounced vee-see), operating as WISI America and the North American headquarters of the global brand. Inca has been a part of the WISI Group since 2015.

"We are very excited about the evolution of our brand," said Robert Bell, CEO of WISI America. "The Inca Networks name has served us well for over 10 years, but as we look to the future, we recognize that we need to better reflect the larger ecosystem we belong to."

Founded in 1926, WISI is a provider of broadband reception and distribution technology, including headend solutions.

The Inca brand remains as the name of WISI America's flagship product family.

"Research and development continues for the Inca transcoder family, and we will continue to support and enhance this platform for years to come," said Sharen Sandhu, VP of product at WISI America. "We have many exciting developments in progress that will empower video operators looking to deploy new live and multiscreen services or support existing infrastructures."

The production and technical support of WISI headend products continues as usual at WISI America's headquarters in Vancouver, Canada.

"We continue to delight our customers with an exceptional level of service, regardless of company size," said Bell. "The individual needs and challenges of video operators remains our primary focus. We continue to uphold our long-term partnerships with video operators to improve the viewing experience of their subscribers."
