Mega Broadband Investments has joined the NCTA. Phil Spencer, CEO of Mega Broadband, has been appointed a member on the NCTA board of directors.

"We are thrilled to welcome Mega Broadband to our association. Mega Broadband delivers advanced broadband services to communities and rural areas throughout America's heartland and will be an important voice in NCTA's advocacy," said Michael Powell, president and CEO, NCTA. "Phil has decades of experience managing all aspects of the networking business, and his knowledge and expertise will bring an important perspective to the NCTA board."

Mega Broadband operates Northland Communications, Eagle Communications and Vyve Broadband, delivering high-speed Internet, video and voice services to residential and commercial customers in small-to-medium markets and rural geographies in 15 states.

"With an ever-changing industry, there are many policy issues facing the cable industry where Mega Broadband needs strong representation in Washington. I look forward to working with NCTA and the board on forging a strong path forward for the industry," said Spencer.
