Pavlov Media purchases NetExperience to bolster the expansion of Telecom Infra Project (TIP) OpenWiFi Solution

Jan. 25, 2024
NetExperience’s open and disaggregated technology offers connectivity for several markets: multifamily, hospitality, senior living, military barracks, sports stadiums, and enterprise markets.

Pavlov Media has acquired NetExperience to enhance the Telecom Infra Project (TIP) OpenWi-Fi project further.

NetExperience, which has developed the OpenWiFi Cloud Controller, will be run as an independent division of Pavlov Media. The company will continue to serve its existing customer base and enable the rapid deployment of OpenWiFi's open and disaggregated technology.

Pavlov Media will remain an independent managed service provider for the multifamily industry, deploying its customers' Wi-Fi network solutions and OpenWiFi-based solutions.

As a Pavlov Media subsidiary, NetExperience will remain based in Canada, operating as an autonomous Cloud Platform for the TIP OpenWiFi community. NetExperience will continue to be run by its co-founders, CEO Bernard Herscovici, Chief Technology Officer, and CTO Marcel Chénier. Pavlov Media will retain the entire NetExperience team.

Pavlov Media is familiar with the OpenWiFi technology as it has already used it in its business. "OpenWiFi complements our current enterprise-grade wireless networking partnerships, and together, they will all yield tremendous value for the industry as it moves forward to Wi-Fi 7 and beyond,” said Cory Douglas, CEO of Pavlov Media.

Douglas added that Pavlov plans to expand opportunities for OpenWiFi. “Disaggregated Wi-Fi technology is enjoying more traction across multiple market verticals and the acquisition of NetExperience accomplishes our growth and expansion goals," he said.
