Photoreceiver modules

These photoreceiver modules for OC-192 or STM-64 telecommunications applications have 150V/W outputs into 50 ohms. Applications include long-haul telephone, cable-TV, and optical-interconnect applications. The photodiode maintains its bandwidth at 850 nm, despite lower responsivity. Bias voltages of +5V and -0.5V are needed, with power dissipation of about 300 mW for the 10-GHz module DSC-R401 and -500 mW for the higher-gain DSC-R402. Standard backreflection specification is better than -40 dB, with FC-PC input connectors. Optional performance of -55 dB is available, as are FC-APC connectors for the pigtail.
