Fiber-optic connectors

The ST and FC singlemode and multimode Thread-Lock fiber-optic connectors are mechanical, screw-on connectors adaptable to 900- and 250-micron fibers and 3-mm jacketed fiber. The connectors do not require a crimping tool or epoxy to terminate, so they can be reused and reterminated without sacrificing industry standards for insertion loss, reflectance, and cable retention, according to the manufacturer.
