Fiber Bragg grating laser

The lambda FBG laser is an industrial excimer laser designed for fiber Bragg grating fabrication in the production-line environment. The laser delivers 150 mJ per pulse at a repetition rate to 100 Hz when operated at 248 nm. Its single-dimension unstable resonator results in spatial coherence up to 1.5 mm. According to the manufacturer, it features excellent beam homogeneity and long-term stability. An FBG-LN line-narrowed version also features temporal coherence length exceeding 1 cm. The LN version is designed for the interferometric writing of FBGs and for excimer laser holography. Metal/ceramic NovaTube construction is designed to ensure high reliability, long mean time to failure, and short mean time to repair.
