Williams Communications Inc. (Tulsa, OK) will provide Concentric Network Corp. (San Jose, CA) with multiple OC-3s on Williams` expanding nationwide fiber-optic network. With the agreement, Concentric hopes to increase bandwidth capacity and network resilience for both its virtual private network and Internet backbone traffic between key U.S. locations. The bandwidth of Concentric`s network is expected to increase four-fold.
