Digital loop-carrier systems

DLC Plus is a digital loop-carrier system family based on a multifabric switching architecture. It allows users to send and receive voice and data communications via four different circuit-switched or packet-switched transmission modes simultaneously from a single high-capacity platform. The family consists of the T-5, designed for use in customer premises and remote terminal applications, the S-10, which can be deployed in the central office terminal as well as large or small remote terminal applications, and the B-32, for the central office and large remote terminal applications.
