IDT Corp. (Hackensack, NJ) signed agreements with four major European-based telecommunications

IDT Corp. (Hackensack, NJ) signed agreements with four major European-based telecommunications companies to establish a direct fiber-optic connection between the companies for international long-distance service. Through agreements with France Telecom (Paris), Deutsche Telekom (Bonn, Germany), Swisscom N.A. (Switzerland), and Telefonica S.A. (Madrid, Spain), IDT will establish direct channels between their international switching points and IDT`s facilities in the United States and United Kingdom.
