The LC Slimpack connector is designed for use on dual-fiber, single jacket round cable instead of a zipcord duplex cable. This design saves space by reducing the number and bulk of cables in a cabinet by a factor of two.

LC Slimpack connectors use precision ceramic ferrules to ensure low insertion loss, low return loss, and high repeatability. The LC Slimpack is compatible to all LC adapters, and it is designed so that two Slimpacks will cleanly fit side by side in one quad LC adapter.

AFOP LC Slimpack connectors are available in both singlemode and multimode styles with jacket sizes of 2.4 mm and 3 mm OD. The LC Slimpack connector is fully tested and compliant with Telcordia GR-326-CORE and TIA/EIA-604-10 industry standards.
