OPTICAL CHANNEL ANALYZER

April 1, 2000

The WA-7000 Multi-line Wavemeter optical channel analyzer uses scanning Michelson interferometer-based technology and digital processing to measure and differentiate the absolute wavelengths of up to 200 discrete optical signals with an accuracy of ±1.5 pm and a spectral resolution up to 50 pm. Power of each optical signal is measured with an absolute accuracy on ±0.5 dB, and the device calculates channel spacing, drift, and signal-to-noise ratio.
