Cable pact

Vyvx Inc., a unit of Williams Co. Inc., has signed a five-year, multimillion dollar deal with Time Warner Inc. The international video-services company called it a major building block in its strategy to become the broadband Internet. This agreement is the largest ever for the Tulsa-based company, which plans to double its size this year and rebuild its fiber-optic network. Vyvx will provide video-transmission services to Time Warner, enabling the latter to interconnect the video services of its own broadcasting and cable subsidiaries using Vyvx`s national fiber-optic network.
