Transmitter and receiver

HFE4222 light-emitting diode transmitter and HFD3222 analog receiver are packaged in dual-inline PIN housing and provide metal-barrel connectors. Both 850-nm components suit such LAN applications as Ethernet and token ring. The transmitter typically couples -15.8 dBm into 50/125-micron cables and -12 dBm into 62.5/125 micron cables at 60 milliamperes peak. The receiver has a typical power supply rejection ratio of 20 dB at 10 MHz.
