Models 2001, 2010 and 2020-DS variable attenuators have an attenuation range of 35 dB. Typical backreflection with an APC-type connector is less than -65 dB. The attenuators are used for low-noise fiber-distribution systems, video transmission, receiver power matching and production line testing of fiber systems. Model 2001-DS is priced at $450, without connectors.
