St. Louis-based Brooks Fiber Properties Inc. is acquiring a 105-route-mile fiber network from Metrolink Inc. that has been serving businesses in the Tulsa metropolitan area since 1986. The network, which will operate under the name of Brooks Fiber Communications of Tulsa Inc., uses synchronous optical network technology deployed in a fault-tolerant-ring topology.
