Pacific Dunlop`s Oleo Cables Communications Division, Victoria, Australia, has been awarded a $2 million contract to manufacture and supply optical-fiber cable for Piltel, the leading cellular operator in the Philippines. This project involves approximately 500 kilometers of cable that will be used to interconnect radio nodes on a mobile telephone network in Manila.
