Fiber-optic connectors

MC5 high-density, multiway fiber-optic connectors support aerospace and avionic applications. They have a coupling ring that incorporates an anti-vibration mechanism and a tri-start thread. The shell`s nickel-plated composite material is corrosion-resistant. Zirconia ceramic ferrules typically produce less than 0.25-dB insertion loss per channel and repeatability to within 0.1 dB.
