Fiber-optic link

Series 315B fiber-optic link transmits digital signals over a single strand of 62.5/125-micron fiber. It lets users switch from coaxial cable to fiber distribution. The transmitter link includes a diagnostic input signal status LED. The receiver provides an optical level/loss indicator in addition to the output signal status LED. Incorporating automatic gain-control circuitry, the system does not require field adjustment.
