Multiplexer

Model 9328-400 bit-driver multiplexer system allows IBM systems 3/X, AS/400 and IBM workstation controllers using twinaxial or twisted-pair cable to communicate over high-performance fiber-optic cables. The eight-channel transmitter/receiver full-duplex multiplexer uses IBM protocol and addressing. Each of the eight input/output ports operates at 1 Mbit/sec with serial bi-phase data and accepts 100-ohm twinaxial or 150-ohm twisted-pair cable. The transmission line interface uses two ST fiber-optic receptacles, with an SC or SMA option available.
