Mechanical splice

Corelink mechanical fiber-optic splice mates singlemode and multimode fibers. Mean splice and return losses are less than 0.1 dB and -55 dB, respectively. Applications include outside plant, fiber in the loop, premises networks, fiber jumpers, testing and emergency restoration. The splice accommodates buffer sizes of 250 and 900 microns.
