Remote fiber-testing system

The HP 81700 series 200 remote fiber-testing system addresses multiple-network applications from a single Openview-based platform. The system hardware consists of a card cage that fits a central-office rack and provides networking capabilities to access remote measurement units. OTDR modules are available for 1310-, 1550- and 1625-nm wavelengths and support dark and active fiber testing. Pricing starts at $55,000.
