Motorola Inc. in Fort Worth, TX, has chosen Bedford, TX-based Reliance Comm/Tec`s Transmission Systems Group to supply equipment based on next-generation digital-loop carrier technology and Motorola`s personal communications services system. The three-year, multimillion-dollar contract calls for Reliance to deliver initial testbed units in early 1995. The Motorola system, known as Teledensity, has been optimized for voice and data telephony service implementation in urban and suburban areas.
