JDS Uniphase appoints new UK distributor

2 June 2003 Tarporley, UK Lightwave Europe--AG Electro Optics has been appointed as sole JDS Uniphase distributor for the company's range of fibre-optic telecom components and instruments.

2 June 2003 Tarporley, UK--AG Electro Optics has been appointed as sole JDS Uniphase distributor for the company's range of fibre-optic telecom components and instruments.

The agreement, effective from June 20, was welcomed today by Blair Nimmo, Managing Director at AG Electro-Optics. "This appointment consolidates 18 years of close cooperation between our two companies. We are confident that our dedicated sales and focused marketing will add value to their quality products."

AG Electro Optics was established in 1981 and has shown continued growth. It supplies Ireland, Scandinavia and Benelux countries. Its range includes Fibre-Optic Components, Fibre-Optic Instrumentation, Connectorisation Products, Laser Safety and Laser Measurement, Metrology and 3D Laser Scanning.
