Remote control and the SS7 enhancements have been added to the sonet/ ds-3 analyzer option for the t-berd 224 analyzer. With remote test manager (rtm) and distributed test manager (dtm), testing can be remotely performed at sts-1 and DS-3 levels. The rtm allows remote access to the t-berd 224 tester from a PC or unix station. Call tracing lets users perform call monitoring and tracing down to calling-and-called number and the origination and destination point codes.
