MetroRed Telecomunicaodes (Brazil), which provides telecommunications services via optical fibers controlled by Fidelity Capital, Boston Ventures, and others, will invest $120 million over the next three years to start operations in Brazil. An initial investment of $25 million will lead to its first presence in Brazil this October in Sao Paulo. A sister company in Argentina operates a 50-km sdh fiber network there.
