10Base-T to 10Base-FL converter

The Model exc0015 10Base-T to 10Base-FL converter enables compatibility between disparate crossed and uncrossed cabling and hardware. Using "Autocross" technology, which facilitates data transmission regardless of cable-crossing requirements or hardware configuration, the unit features application-specific integrated circuit design, two light-emitting diodes per port, and an external power supply. Linkalert monitors 100% of physical uplink and downlink failures, which alerts the network of transmission faults. The unit has one 8-pin modular (10Base-T) port and two ST (10Base-FL) connectors. Full- or half-duplex operation supports simultaneous transmission and reception and increases network speed and distance. The unit is priced at $249.
