Frontier Corp. (Rochester, NY) has turned up the first of its Nortel dms-500 integrated local/long-distance/data switches in Boston and Minneapolis. Frontier is installing the integrated switches in 13 metropolitan markets across the country. The dms-500 switches handle a comprehensive range of features and services. Frontier operates a self-healing, fiber-optic network with IP-over-sonet capabilities.
