snmp network access and transmission system

The snmp-based Network Access and Transmission system allows central monitoring and configuration of hardware and software for both fiber-optic and copper equipment. The system supports applications such as interface and rate conversion (dsu), voice and data multiplexing, point-to-point connections to 52 Mbits/sec (hssi), fiber-optic mode conversion, and boosting to 200 Mbits/sec. All fiber products are available with a wavelength-division multiplexer so optical signals can be transmitted and received over the same fiber. Fiber and copper cards can be mixed within the same rack and managed via a standard snmp card. The system manages up to 88 or 94 units via one snmp agent and one IP address. List price is $2060.
