20 September 2002 -- Cisco Systems is hosting its 12th annual industry event, Networkers, from 21-24 October 2002 at Copenhagen's Bella Center. The event provides networking professionals with a forum to discuss current industry issues and trends and increase their knowledge of Cisco and its partners' products. The setting for Networkers 2002 will provide a showcase for Cisco technologies, and for the first time will be fully equipped with wireless LAN hotspots.
Attendees will have a chance to hear presentations from Cisco executives including the keynote from CEO John Chambers. Cisco will also lead the discussion of the future of networking and share its vision of the role those in the industry play in the growth of the global economy.
At Networkers 2002, delegates can attend in variety of breakout sessions targeting specific industry topics and trends. This is the second year running that the event has been located at Bella Center, Scandinavia's largest conference facility, that recently hosted ECOC 2002. The venue is equipped with a full AVVID (Architecture for Voice, Video and Data) Cisco Network, which will enable keynotes to be transmitted around the Center over the Internet. Wireless and wired broadband Internet access is being provided by TDC Tele Danmark and Eterra, making this one of the most high-tech conference centres of the world.
