US West has signed a two-year contract with E/O Networks, Hayward, CA, to begin deployment of the company`s FDS-1 telecommunications system in rural areas within US West`s 14-state serving territory. This deployment follows successful completion of a field trial in Buffalo, WY, and volume expansion in the state.
