mfs Network Technologies, Omaha, NE, has broken ground for a digital fiber-optic communications network that will run along the New York State Thruway. The network will run along 542 miles of the highway and will link Manhattan, White Plains, and Albany before running cross-state to connect with routes in Cleveland, OH. The company expects to complete construction in the fourth quarter of this year.
