Fiber-optic cable monitoring system

The 2000 cms monitors outside-plant fiber-optic cable and splice enclosures for damage and moisture ingress. The system senses and signals the location of any damage, allowing time to prevent an outage from occurring. It monitors 1000 cable-kilometers and more than 2000 splice enclosures. Alarms and routine status reports are sent to maintenance centers.
