c-cor Electronics Inc., State College, PA, has agreed to provide Century Communications of Rohnert Park, CA, with its FlexNet 700 Series 750-MHz trunks, bridgers, and line extenders and FlexNode AM fiber nodes. The equipment will be used in hybrid fiber/coaxial-cable architecture with a full fiber backbone. c-cor was selected for Phase I of the system, which started in July. At full build-out, the project will measure 1000 mi.
