Baseband video tester option

Option 22 for the vm700t/a series video measurement set verifies video sync timing drift and drift rate at the output of Sonet and sdh video distribution networks. The device measures H-sync frequency drift below 10 Hz and drift rate of a baseband video signal to determine whether they are within the limits acceptable to professional studio and post-production equipment. The unit can be used with sdh and Sonet test sets to quantify total codec performance. It measures user-definable limits and includes relative-to-reference mode peak-hold functions. A vm700t and vm700a series product can be upgraded to include option 22. Video standards supported include ntsc and pal. Option 22 is priced at $1995.
