Premisys, Fremont, CA, has forged a technology license agreement with Positron Fiber Systems Inc., Mt. Laurel, NJ. The pact covers Synchronous Optical Network and Synchronous Digital Hierarchy technology from Positron. For the next three years, Premisys will pay Positron $4 million in license fees. Delivery of the first Premisys product is slated for early June.
