Acome optical cables selected for French motorway network

June 23, 2005 Paris, France -- Acome has been selected to supply optical cables for the motorway network of the Paris-Normandy motorway company (SAPN).

June 23, 2005 Paris, France -- Acome has been selected to supply optical cables for the motorway network of the Paris-Normandy motorway company (SAPN).

According to a press release, several thousand kilometers of singlemode optical fiber, with enhanced characteristics, will be installed alongside the A13 carriageway, a particularly busy highway in France, to provide telecommunications services, while also enabling secure, emergency call networks.

Graniou, a brand company of France's Vinci Energies, has been selected to install the cabling.
