Fujitsu Network Communications' 1FINITY T950 Series Transponder, part of the Fujitsu 1FINITY™ Ultra Optical System platform, offers terabit speeds on a single wavelength. This enables it to provide long-haul transport at the lowest cost to meet the high capacity, scalability and latency demands of data center interconnect (DCI) networking. This future-ready, liquid-cooled transponder delivers 1.2 Tbps over a single wavelength, with a future upgrade to 1.6 Tbps, in a compact modular blade with a total maximum capacity of 14.4 Tbps. The 1FINITY T950 Series optical transport platform consumes 65 percent less power than the previous generation of 800G blades. It supports over 2400 km of point-to-point reach.
