Ribbon Communications' MPQ_8 sled is a metro transport solution that offers low power consumption multi-source 0dBM QSFP-DD pluggables. MPQ_8 provides metro transport of 100GbE and 400GbE clients at 400G today, with a plug-and-replace upgrade path to 800G in early 2025 (when these 0dBm QSFP-DD pluggables become available) plus support for 800GbE clients at that time.
