Infinera’s ICTR140 transmit-receive optical sub-assembly (TROSA) is based on monolithically integrated gain functions.

Infinera’s ICTR140 transmit-receive optical sub-assembly (TROSA) is based on monolithically integrated gain functions. The ICTR140 provides optical performance with 0 dBm, low out-of-band noise for successful deployment over colorless ROADM architectures, high Tx OSNR, and high Rx sensitivity. Infinera’s ICTR140 TROSA is designed around software configurability, simplicity, and high-volume manufacturability for deployment in coherent pluggables and embedded optical engines, as well as in high-volume units fueled by network edge/access growth. Infinera’s ICTR140 TROSA provides fully programmable baud rates (up to 148 GBaud), thus enabling network operators to maximize capacity over virtual and given links.

Judge’s Comment: “An excellent product that demonstrates the high level of integration in an InP PIC platform.”
