23 July 22 2003 Miami, FL Lightwave -- New World Network, Ltd., a provider of clear channel and IP services and the principal owner of the Americas Region Caribbean Optical-ring System (ARCOS), has signed an agreement to provide capacity services to New Edge Networks, a national business broadband connections provider based in Vancouver, WA.
New World Network will provide New Edge Networks with international capacity for delivering fiber-optic connectivity for existing and future managed data services in Puerto Rico. Through this agreement, New World Network continues to expand its customer base and relationships in Puerto Rico.
Through the ARCOS system, New World Network now provides connectivity to multiple Tier 1 carriers with IP Transit services. "New World Network is focused on connecting the Americas, and we are pleased to continue demonstrating this commitment to our customers by providing technologically advanced fiber-optic capacity that enables our customers, such as New Edge Networks, to provide their customers with high-quality services and solutions," said Matt Milstead, President and CEO of New World Network.
