Fiber cable stripping machine

The FO 7045 fiber-optic cable-stripping machine incorporates four stripping functions that can be programmed to allow for a variety of stripping combinations. The system processes many different cable types and thicknesses, according to the manufacturer, up to a length of 70 mm and an outer diameter up to 4.5 mm. The machine strips the outer jacket, Kevlar, and the buffer and primary coating on single-mode and multimode cables in less than 14 seconds. Cable programs can be changed in less than three seconds without tooling or blade changes.
