Termination stub

The Optifit assembly addresses hybrid fiber/coaxial-cable networks. The stub connects the optical network unit to the optical drop cable at the receiver node. Available in lengths to 40,000 feet, the assembly includes a furcation unit that supports two to 12 optical fibers in protective subunits and a metal fitting that links the furcation unit to the hardware. An epoxy-filled aluminum sleeve strain-relieves fibers and protects against water penetration.
