LS Cable readies European GPON invasion

24 July 2008 -- LS Cable is set to roll out its new GPON technology in Europe. The exact timing of its entry into the market has not been revealed.

Min-Soo Kim, managing director of LS Cable UK Ltd., says, "As well as offering domestic solutions, we believe that GPON has many potential commercial applications and it is these that we will be focusing on as we launch the product in Europe."

LS Cable offers a range of cabling and connectivity products for the FTTH market, including blown fiber. It also offers GPON and EPON equipment.
