France Telecom in draft deal to deliver fiber to 800,000 homes

MARCH 20, 2008 -- France Telecom says it has signed a frame agreement to supply domestic fiber-optic connections to a French residential properties association whose members represent over 800,000 homes.

MARCH 20, 2008 -- France Telecom (search for France Telecom) says it has signed a frame agreement to supply domestic fiber-optic connections to a French residential properties association whose members represent over 800,000 homes.

Under the proposed deal, France Telecom will install fiber in buildings that are members of the ARC association of co-ownership building management groups.

No financial details were disclosed.
