VIAVI Highlights Test Solutions for AI Infrastructure Development, Manufacturing and Deployment at OFC 2025

March 20, 2025
At booth 2319, VIAVI will showcase three new products supporting the transition to next-gen AI infrastructure.

Chandler, Ariz., March 20, 2025 – VIAVI Solutions Inc. (VIAVI) (NASDAQ: VIAV) today announced it will showcase its latest test solutions for AI infrastructure development, manufacturing and deployment at the 2025 Optical Fiber Communications Conference and Exhibition (OFC) from April 1-3 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA.

Three new products supporting the transition to next-gen AI infrastructure will be on display for the first time at VIAVI’s booth 2319:

  • VIAVI’s new mFVU-3000 FlexLight dual-objective connector microscope provides dual 400X high-resolution magnification and 30X wide field of view, enhanced imaging speed, as well as advanced imaging control and visualization. Magnetic quick-connect adapters with auto ID simplify setup and fully automatic inspection capability reduces test times. By minimizing contamination during the manufacturing process, the mFVU-3000 helps reduce test failures and improve yield.
  • Expanding VIAVI’s market-leading OneAdvisor® 800 platform, the 800G Transport Module delivers comprehensive test capability, built-in guidance and automatic configuration that help field technicians install and maintain high-capacity networks up to 800G while in the field.
  • Following the success of the INX™ 760, VIAVI has introduced the INX 660 probe microscope, which ensures pristine single fiber connections with a simple, automated inspection process.

Additional demonstrations include:

· 1.6T Development Testing and Validation: Early deployment of VIAVI’s award-winning ONE LabPro™  multiport Ethernet performance test system demonstrates the viability of 1.6Tb/s technology, with a path to large-scale deployment over the next few years.

· Solutions for AI Infrastructure Manufacturing: At OFC 2025, VIAVI will highlight its comprehensive solutions for the R&D qualification and volume production of optical network component and connectivity using the multi-user, multi-function MAP-300 test system.

· Solutions for AI Infrastructure Deployment: VIAVI will be showcasing its comprehensive portfolio of field test solutions for fiber construction and maintenance, remote fiber test and monitoring, dense fiber testing inside data centers, and high-speed metro and automated network test. Solutions that guarantee and protect DCI, including the NITRO Fiber Sensing, FiberComplete PRO and Test Process Automation (TPA™), will also be on display.

In addition, VIAVI, Samtec and Rambus will demonstrate PCIe/CXL traffic over optics in Samtec’s booth 5863. VIAVI and Nubis Communications will demonstrate PCIe 6.0 link up and FLIT mode protocol over Unretimed Optics for low-latency link extension in Nubis’ booth 3524.

On Monday, March 31 from 1:30 – 5:30 PM PT, VIAVI will lead a course on optical fiber sensing principles and technology, as well as the associated specialty fiber types and components required for their system integration.

On Wednesday, April 2 from 3:30 – 3:40 PM PT in Theatre III, VIAVI will join a Lightwave panel discussion on how AI creates new opportunities in the optical networking market.

For the ninth year in a row, VIAVI has been recognized with two 2025 Lightwave Innovation Reviews awards in the lab/production test equipment category for its ONE LabPro ONE-1600 1.6T test module and FVAM-2000 benchtop microscope.
